Shabana Azmi welcomes daughter-in-law Shibani Dandekar into the Akhtar family
Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Shibani Dandekar on February 19 at Javed Akhtar’s farmhouse ‘Sukoon’, in Khandala. They were joined by their family members and close friends. Several pictures and videos have been shared by both on their respective social media handles. Now, Shabana Azmi has dropped a post on her Instagram and welcomed her daughter-in-law into the family.
Veteran actor and Javed Akhtar’s wife Shabana Azmi shared a beautiful picture from the wedding and introduced Shibani as a member of the family. Dressed in a beautiful yellow salwar kameez, Shabana looked beautiful. She captioned the post, “Happy family welcomes lovely Shibani into the family fold,”. A few days after the wedding, Shibani Dandekar also changed her name on Instagram. The actress' bio now reads, "Shibani Dandekar-Akhtar. Producer-Presenter-Actress-Singer MRS AKHTAR."
